Well that's it I have had it. I have been out there in the swamp almost every day since the plane was lost and I haven't found it. Unless I can locate it from the edge I'm not going back in there to look for it. Looks like that is the end the flying days for the Blue Spectra.
Maybe some day 10,000 years from now some scientist will come across the batteries and the fossilized balsa wood. And say "Wow what primitive technology. No wonder this civilization fell".
Here is aerial photo of the area where the plane went down. The red x marks the spot where I think it went down. But needless to say this is only an approximate position. Otherwise I would have found it. The receiver works on channel 57. Anyone finding the plane is welcome to get a channel 57 transmitter and fly it. Provided the technology to construct a transmitter for it still exists.
