... an up-close, educational approach to discovering and understanding
the ancient art of stone-tool making. Program length and content is flexible
and can be modified to suit your group's specific requirements. James Adams
is past President and Vice-President President of Chapter 14 of The Society
For Pennsylvania Archaeology and is the author and co-author of several
papers on local Archaeology and Natural History. His flintknapping demonstrations
have been enjoyed by historical societies, museums, and private individuals
alike. The goal of this program is to give a step by step insight into
the unique and ancient process of stone tool manufacture. It will also
give you and/or your students a first-hand appreciation of the advantages,
limitations and usages of various lithic materials and tool designs.

Saskatchewan Archaeological Society presents ....
The Saskatchewan Archaeological Society will be presenting an all-day
workshop on flintknapping at the Archaeology Centre in Saskatoon, Saturday,
September 12, 1998. The instructor is Les MacPherson. This workshop will
be of interest to the beginning or novice flintknapper. Cost is $50.00
Can., and covers all materials.

Well, I've finally got some info on this school and I'm afraid its not
good news. This school is now defunct, it was taught for the last time
in 1991.
