Baja california visit
photo

Traveling into Mexico was initially very scary, but then I gathered all the precautions to make my first trip into Mexico via the Tijuana, the largest border crossing between USA and Mexico.

The coast line of the Baja California is very beautiful and almost looks like highway 1 in the pacific coast.  The road along the coastline is a toll road, so is maintained very well compared to the inner roads.

Ensenada is not as much a tourist town as it is a genuine Mexican city, yet it does have much to offer the visitor who drops by. The 75 mile stretch of highway leading to Ensenada from U.S. border is in excellent condition and can be traveled in just over an hour. The blow hole 'La Bufadora' is the main draw here which is a 12 miles scenic drive from the Ensenada city.  The sea waves are pushed through a hole and water rises to more than 100 feet above the ground. This is awesome to watch.
