In a nut shell, the story is a misunderstanding between the lovers and end up in separation. At the end, their respective souls try to unite them forms the climax. The souls (Ninaevugal) always dress in blue to differentiate between the real and soul. The story is inspired from an Hollywood movie.
S.J.Surya as an actor have to improve leaps and bounds. But as a dancer has performed well. The jokes are mostly tasteless and vulgar. Probably the director has not learned his lessons from his previous venture "New". The heroine has been very broad minded in her costumes. There is lot of skin show. The Censor board has been liberal with their scissors.
The comedy track of Shanthanam has raised the laughter in snippets. Shanthana Bharathy dons the villain role, but there is no much scope for his role. M.N. Nambiar has acted as god. The highlight of the movie is A. R. Rehman music, Anthony editing and song picture ration. The title song and wood pecker (Virtual reality technique) songs are done excellently.
