Life

Sometime my life
Doesn't seem like my own anymore
Once, I was carefree and innocent
I saw the world as bright and new
Now, I have so many burdens
Pressing down on me
Smothering me
The world seems darker and more ominous
I hope that someday
I will find someone to help me
To share life's burdens
Maybe then the clouds will part
And life's joy will shine brightly once again.
