While the Trojans were not qualified for the BCS national championship game
because of the relatively weak strength of the schedule, USC dominated No.4 Michigan
in the Rose Bowl game to win the AP national title.

BCS national championship game, as the No.1 and No.2 of the BCS standings, respectively.
LSU defeated Oklahoma to win the BCS national title and Coaches title
which must go to the BCS champions by contract.
