21st Century Project

Notre Dame is the team of 20th century. Notre Dame is the symbol and paradigm of the century in football. The roaring 21st century is now requesting its own team(paradigm). This is the most important need for the future in that the paradigm serves as the rudder to direct people's minds and as the prop to hold up people's spirits. It cannot but be USC. As USC becomes like that, eventually, a couple of equations are built as the followings.

One is already formed like : "the 20th Century = the Atlantic = the Eastern Continent = Notre Dame"

Another is to be like            : "the 21st Century = the Pacific = the Western Continent = USC"

From them, people may interpret a variety of meanings they have between the lines. I hope so. Above all things, both the 20th century and the 21st century can be simultaneously seized and controlled with the two teams. The rivalry competition and integration between the two teams of the 20th and 21st centuries can be said to be just the 'materialization' of it.

Making USC as the team of the 21st century...it is the 21st century project. ---by M---
