I know you are near.

When I am sad,

I know there's nothing to fear.

You were always there,

Even after you died.

You showed that you cared,

By staying by my side.

You smiled everyday,

With everything you knew.

In your own special way,

That I had to smile too.

But when winter finally came,

There was no more laughter.

They said you had severe pain,

And died shortly after.

When you entered the ground,

I started to cry.

You didn't hear a sound,

While I asked God "Why?"
