The whistling of the wind;

The falling of the leaves;

The warm feeling you get

Looking at the magnificent hues

Of each individual leaf The streets are lined with pumpkins.

Some with unique characteristics

And others part of the whole.

Sounds of the geese overhead

Remind you of the days to come,

But you relish the smells of autumn

And the feelings you get

When you look at the world around you.

Children playing in the streets

And leaf piles along the road.

The smell of freshness and newness

Are around you every where.

You laugh as you watch

The brightly painted leaves

Play tag with one another

And wonder what joys tomorrow will bring.

You look forward to all the activities

Such as bobbing for apples

Or going on hay rides.

You enjoy the cool breeze

While you walk along the path

And you marvel at the sights and sounds

As each day passes by

Thankful that autumn brings you joy.
