Katie, Your book comments of life. I relate all your experiences to the ups and downs of day to day living, rather than specifically to athletics. We enjoyed the book immensely as did Amanda. Tulsa, Oklahoma Wichita,Kansas

I am still reading the book, but wanted to write and say how much I am enjoying it. The Lord has blessed Katie with a special talent for writing as well as insight into other athlete's need to express their own feelings about the ups and downs of their ca
reers.

I did get the book and I must say that I can't put it down. Just tonight I read another chapter with my pen and highlighter by my side. It is so cool to see athletes with the same dreams, beliefs, problems and aspirations. I have told my friends about
he book, and there is a line to get it after I have finished it. Thanks again for providing a book that can reach, teach, and motivate an athlete.

This book is amazing. I've already given away 2 and plan on purchasing more. It's well put together, well written, and an amazing collection of unique and personal testimonies from all kinds of different people. It deals with challenges, that athletes hav
to struggle with everyday, and it shows how real these challenges are and how they can be overcome by using the testimonies of so many great people. I'd recommend it to anyone... Tierney Bryce~> Tulsa,OK

It was great to read about all the many facets of an athlete's life. The book was special to me since I knew many of the authors and because I grew up involved in and surrounded by athletics.

As a coach of over 15 years it was great to see a book with personal comments from athletes that covered all the issues athletes go through. It was encouraging to read and also inspirational to know some of the difficulities many successful athletes enco
ntered. I hope many will pick up the book and it will help them on their competitive journey and see how beneficial sports opportunities can be for each person as they go through life. Joyce Wellhoefer Softball Coach

Katie- This is an excellent book. It shows another side of college athletes that you probably never knew about. It also shows ways that these athletes dealt with their problems and proof that you can come back from almost any problem. Ron Sardina Buff

I have read your book and absolutely loved it. I felt that I could relate to so many of the stories because of my daughter being in sports. I particularly liked your personal excerpt at the beginning of each chapter as it gave an additional insight into
your true feelings which I am sure no one was aware of at the time. Hope to see another book in print in the future. It was GREAT....

Katie, I feel that your book is an inspiration, showing that through sports people develop a philosophy, maybe even a theology, of life. Salting in your personal experiences with those of others makes the book both intimate and unified. Tulsa, Oklahoma<

What a wonderful book. It holds a special place in my heart because it had a chapter about death. A few of my old teammates from college had written in the area regarding a teammate of ours that had died. Reading through the book reminded me of all that
I had gone through in college and what a struggle it was, but how good it felt to look back and know that I made it. Anyone that reads this book will love it, whether they are an athlete or not. I now coach college softball and I often find myself going
back and rereading the chapters. Thank you Katie and I hope you come out with another great book!!!
