| Dear Brownie Families, | ||||||||||||
| Welcome to a new year of Scouting. We have tons of special activities planned for the girls and are eager to get started. This year we're starting out sharing a little bit about ourselves and learning about our friends in the troop. We're going to share our special talents and skills with each other while on our brownie quest. We'll also explore what the Girl Scout Law means to us. | ||||||||||||
| Today's Activities | ||||||||||||
| Today we were active. We played several games. A ball toss helped us share information about ourselves, we put together a Girl Scout Law Puzzle and did a few tricks with a hula hoop or a ball to work as a team. Along the way the girls earned their first key in the brownie quest. The first key represents discovery and how their qualities, talents and values are important. Your daughter received her first patch today. Check our website www.geocities.com/kmooremm to see where to put these on the front of the vest. | ||||||||||||

| We only have a few more pages to do in our Brownie Quest book. Before the next meeting please have your daughter read pages 54-64 and complete pages 54-55, 58, 60-64. The rest of the book we will complete as a group. Thanks for all your help in making this go smoothly. | ||||||||||||
