Brownie Troop 282

November 10, 2008

Today’s Activities

The girls took a picture with all the coats they collected for the coat drive and earned their last two keys along the brownie quest. Their patches are in their backpacks today! Now that the girls have completed their journey through the Brownie Quest it’s time to move onto earning try-its again. Our fist Try-it is manners and we spent the whole day learning about how to act at the dinner table, how to greet people politely and how manners are different in other countries. We learned the proper way to set the table, then got a chance to try eating with chop sticks, various utensils and best of all our hands. With our hands we sampled a date & rice pudding from Morocco. We also played table manners game and earned candy for each correct answer!
