Brownie Troop 282 CookieSales
October 25, 2008
Dear Brownie Families,
It's time to sell yummy Girl Scout cookies. I'm sure you'll find that most people are just waiting for a Girl Scout to show up with cookies. Troop 282 is hoping to sell enough cookies to help fund several meeting activities and possibly a fun field trip. If the girls sell enough we may add an extra outing that the girls help organize (Build a Bear, Ice Cream Social, etc.)
This year you can begin cookie sales on November 51h and sell throughout the month. When selling cookies. there is no need to collect the money up front. Money should be collected when the cookies are delivered. But, PLEASE have your orders forms back to me no later than Saturday November 29th. I need to tally and turn in the order forms. This will ensure that your order is processed and will be ready for pick-up on January 10th. You may pick up your order at my house between 2 p.m. - 4:30pm on Saturday January 101h. Once you have happy customers with cookies in hand you can deliver all your money at the January meeting or to my house by January 24th.

Tip of the Day: If you're bringing the order form to work or leaving it on a desk, take five minutes and write up a little information about your daughter and her troop. You can even include a picture. People will really stop to check it out! An example is attached.
Every purchase someone makes help the girls' troop complete service projects such as putting together birthday boxes for less fortunate children or making care packages for mothers in shelters. It also helps fund fun activities for the troop like extra craft projects and outings.
Thank you for all your assistance. It allows Troop 282 more opportunities for fun and exploration throughout the coming months and years. If you have any questions please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
Dori Mleczko
