
Redang Island is a scuba diver's paradise. It is located 50km from the mainland and a 2 hour boat ride from the Marang Jetty.Redang Archipelago exists of 9 islands (Lima Island, Paku Besar Island, Paku Kecil Island, Kerengga Besar Island, Kerengga Kecil Island, Ekor Tebu Island ,Ling Island, Pinang Island and the main Redang Island) .
This wonderful island is surrounded by crystal clear waters, pearly white shores, a colorful array of spectacular marine life, a breathtaking sunset, and what could be the world's most mature coral garden. Sheltered within the Redang Island Marine Park, the waters here abound with marine life.
The boat trip starts from the fishing village of Merang. This is a fishing village North of Kuala Terengganu.The best time to visit Redang is between April and October. As most resorts are closed during the Northeast Monsoon, which blows from November to March for safety purposes.
