Part 2: Things I Know Now

I know things now that I never probably would have known if I were living a totally different life. These are the facts of my life and the morals I live by. I'm not saying everyone who reads this should go about living the way I do; nor am I saying that the things I believe are the correct things, by far. It's just me and my thoughts on life.

1. Compassion
Even the most hateful person has compassion. Can you possibly imagine someone who has no emotions? Perhaphs some of us show it more than others but everyone has it. Understanding the fact that people are different and maybe stopping to think of what it's like to be them never hurt anyone. No that doesn't mean you have to go up to every upset person in the world and hug them, it just means be careful. If there is a problem, don't make it worse; or better yet, don't get involved. If you have no intention on helping the lesser person, I think it's better to be passive and not do anything.
Everyone says, "If you see something wrong then stop it." But in reality, if a guy is beating his wife/ girlfriend in public, are you really going to go up to him and tell him to stop? Some might, most of us won't. But what can you do from that situation? Not all is lost. You can learn from that. You see him beating his wife and you are outraged but won't interfere. That's fine, now you know not to do it. If you're on the victim's side then you see that is what your life is like, then you change it.
