Open the lid of the 2002, place the electrodes in the plastic chemical containers, connect the leads from the control unit to the electrodes and we are ready to gold plate this Falcon badge.
Throughly clean the badge and surrounding areas using the 2002's Electroclean process to ensure the area is free from any contamination.
The original chrome plating is removed using the 2002's auto-strip facility. The nickel surface under the chrome is revealed.
The nickel surface is prepared for plating using the 2002's activation process.
24 carat hard-gold is applied to the badge surface using the 2002's high speed selective plating facility.
Total time taken to complete the operation, under 10 minutes.
