Roadcase Construction
Technical Specification for Smaller Roadcases
Lid and base - 0.6mm Stucco embossed Aluminium sheet bonded to to 3.6mm ply
Sides - 0.6mm Aluminium sheet bonded to 6mm ply.

The Aluminium can be powder-coated in any colour to match your company's requirements.
The cases are finished with angle extrusion on the edges with tongue and groove extension on the joint between the lid and base.  The extrusions are exclusive to The Aluminium Roadcase Company, and provide total dust protection plus high moisture and weather resistance when fitted as a single piece for surface mounted catches.
Protective corners and Aluminium straps are riveted in place and lids are hinged with 90deg stay hinges and surface mounted Beetlelocks.
The interior may be partitioned depending upon the application and all cases are lined with the appropriate thickness of foam, upholstered with either Velvet or 'Frontrunner'.
Technical Specification for Larger Roadcases
Tecnical specification for Larger cases is similar to the small ones, however, using mixtures of 6mm and 9mm ply bonded with 0.6mm Aluminium sheet plus larger extrusions, again unique to
The Aluminium Roadcase Company.
Recessed catches of various designs can be used,  Although they reduce the weather and moisture resistance the cases still maintain a high degree of protection from dust.
Recessed handles, heavier 90deg. stay hinges, our own protective ball corners and a variety of wheels including recessed wheels are also available.
Stainless steel catches and handles are also available for use in corrrosive environments.
The inside can be partitioned and lined as with the smaller cases.
