| Magazine Center In this center, students find a magazine picture and glue it to a piece of paper. They then follow a set of instructions that include: finding at least 5 nouns, finding at least 5 verbs, writing the verb tenses for each verb, etc. Here is just one example of this activity. |
| Flip Book Center In this center students are to create a flip book based on directions I have given them. This one asked that they write 3 sentences. One with a color word, one with a contraction and one with a compound word. They then had to illustrate the inside of their books to match the sentences they wrote. |
