| All right you have heard of Euclid Beach before haven't you. Sure it was the glorious park on the shores of Erie. A hop skip and a jump from down town Cleveland the bustling port on Lake Erie that never slept. Well, this park had a long and rich history that all started in the year 1894. The park started out small but grew as the years went by but by 1897 it looked like Euclid Beach my be shut down do to poor management. This happened many times at Euclid Beach until the family that would own them for 59 years, the Hupmherys. That's when the history really started they built many legendary rollercoasters such as the Thriller.There were also many other great rides. There were many stalls too such as the Humphrey Pop Corn Balls that are still available today. Then what happens to all great parks eventually it was shut down in 1969.
