Jan. 22 2002 CCT News IX Indoor Amusment park opens March 28, 2002 - April 21, 2002 Six Flags Worlds of Adventure opens May 4, 2002 Jan. 17, 2002 CCT News Cedar Point: A Tower collapses on Cedar Points new ride Vetigo they don't know the cause yet but Cedar Point and the state of Ohio are said to be investigating. Six Flags Worlds of Adventure: Don't think they are getting any new rides this year but hope is still there for them to bring back some of there older rdes like the casino. Last year it was supposed to come back as the Boardwalk Casino. Also at the A.C.E. meeting in December Six Flags said that Auroa has not yet approved zoning for the new hyper coaster. They also said that the coaster would be made by Intamin A.G. and the construction would start fall of 2002 and open in 2003. So it does not look like the park is getting any new rides.
