    Description:  This program adds a page to the file properties page in Windows Explorer which will give the 32-bit CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) value of a selected file.  This is the same calculation used by ZIP archives and RAR archives to see whether the files inside the archive have been corrupted.

    Description:  This program synchronizes your PC's clock with various servers on the internet.
    Pros:  Once you use this program to set your PC's time, you can use it as a reference to synchronize every clock in your house.

    Pros:  This program has lots of features (too many to list here) and loads much faster than the graphics viewers that come with Windows like MSPAINT and Internet Explorer.
    Cons:  This program has a useless built in text file viewer (metapad & Notepad2 are much better).

    Description:  This program puts a small box in the system tray which will block those annoying pop-up windows that appear when you're surfing the internet.
    Pros:  This program blocks all pop-ups, even those launched by programs that are not web browsers such as ad bars and those embedded in MPEG movie files.  The program can be customized.
    Cons:  This program will sometimes block Windows Explorer windows, like the ones that appear if you double-click on a folder.

    Description:  This program displays a list of processes running under Windows.  It also allows the user to kill multiple processes simultaneously.  Other features include the ability to rebuild the Windows icon cache, a separate program to restart Windows Explorer, a system tray utility, and .PVS scripts which can terminate several processes at once.

    Description:  This program puts an icon in the system tray that enables one-click access to a notebook which saves its information every 60 seconds.
    Pros:  This program is very stable and uses very little memory.  The automatic save can be disabled.
    Cons:  This program uses the Windows Rich Text Edit Control DLL (RICHED32.DLL), which means that the text inside may not display correctly if it is inserted using "cut & paste."
