Margaret (Meg) O’Neill

October Student of the Month

Meg O’Neill, the daughter of Michael and Joann O’Neill, of Kasson, is the Student of the Month for October.

Academically, Meg ranks in the top 3% of her graduating class.  She has been academically a “top notch” student at Kasson-Mantorville High School.

In addition to being so successful academically, Meg is also very involved in many  extra-curricular activities.  She is involved with basketball, soccer, golf, MN Junior PGA, National Honor Society, S.A.D.D., band/pepband, knowledge bowl, and is currently serving as the student council vice-president.  Along with her numerous school activities, Meg finds time to work at Daniel’s Restaurant as a waitress, work at Camp Victory as a camp counselor, and be involved with her church.  She spends her remaining free time reading, drawing, and “hanging out with friends.”

After graduation, Meg plans on getting her degree in physical therapy.

Meg’s philosophy of life is, “There is more to life than what many see; things will come and go, but it is the relationships that last and the people that make life such a blessing.”  Meg has been a “blessing” to our school, and is very deserving of being selected the student of the month!
