April 2002 Exchange Club Student of the Month
Heidi Kloempken is the Kasson-Mantorville Exchange Club Student of the month.
Heidi is the daughter of Steve and Ione Kloempken of Kasson.
Heidi's philosophy, which she attributes to creating success for her
both in and out of school, is based on respecting the opinions and
feelings of others. Her hobbies are playing guitar and piano, listening
to music and traveling.
Currently Heidi is employed at Schmidt Printing in Byron.
Heidi is an excellent student and has a current 3.8 GPA and ranks number
6 in a class of 97. After graduation she plans on attending the
University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities with an undecided major.
As a student at K-M, Heidi is involved in band, choir, student council,
SADD, NHS, AFS, and K-M theatre. She is also active in her church
participating in youth, choir, and as a teacher.
A a K-M student, Matt has served as the freshman class president, and
has played football and basketball 9-12.
