Step 1: Keep the ready-made code for shoutbox, counters, etc handy. Just copy them in an open notepad window
Step 2: Sign into blogger
Step 3: Click on the gear picture in blogger dashboard (to change settings)
Step 4: Click on Template Tab
Step 5: Copy the template code in notepad or a better editor like Editplus or Editpad Lite
Step 6: Search for the string (or any part of it)" <!-- <p>This is a paragraph of text that could go in the sidebar.</p> -->" or scroll down to that part
Step 7: Copy your ready-made code just below that part
Step 7a: Be sure to include atleast a <br> tag between 2 sets of codes
Step 8: Click on 'Save Template Changes' button
Step 9: Click on either 'Republish Index only' or 'Republish Blog' button. If you click on the first one, the addons will appear on the first page only this time and in all pages published subsequently. If you click on the second button, the addons will appear on all the pages.
Step 10: Wait for the files to be published and You are done.
