A brother has fallen. He needs help in getting up. Ricky Mather is a member
ofHogtown chapter of the KMA and is Viet Nam era vet. Ricky is employed
at Active Transport, but has been on sick leave since March of 2000 because
of heart complications. In 1996,
Ricky suffered a heart attack. He was off work for several months. He returned
to work but continued to have trouble with his heart. In October 2000, Ricky
had open-heart
surgery .He had a mechanical heart valve installed. He has been out of work,
and has lost most ofhis benefits. To help meet his day to day living expenses
and most importantly, to keep from losing his family's home, we are doing
the following. Through the help of New Wineskin Ministries, Inc. and Our
Lady ofMercy Catholic Church in Hodgenville, we are going to sell raffle
tickets on a 1988 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster. This Sportster has 17,000
original miles. We will be selling a total of 750 tickets at twenty-five
dollars ($25.00) each.

All prizes will be given away at a benefit dance at the American Legion
Post #87 in Hodgenville.
The benefit dance will be Friday night, January 26, 2001. Anyone with a
raffle ticket will be entitled to free admission to the dance. You do not
have to be present to win. All winners will be notified by phone. Donations
will be accepted if you so desire. Remember all donations are tax deductible.
