| Sakura and the Huge Stuffed Bear |
| Sakura is sitting on a bench outside the school, sewing a teddy bear. Sakura : It's done! [ holding the bear up ] Nooooo, it looks like Kero-chan again. I gotta ask Rika to help me again. Sakura takes out a pencil and begins writing a letter to Mizuki-sensei. She tells Kaho all about the mysterious evens happening in Tomoeda and her confusion over them. All of the Clow Cards have been collected, after all. She pulls out some of the Clow Cards and ponders the possibility that something is happening again, when her thoughts are interrupted by a sweet voice. Eriole : Is something wrong? [ Sakura quickly hides the Clow Cards ] Is something making you worry? Sakura : No, there's nothing! [waving hands rapidly ] Sakura says she is writing a letter to her former sensei. Eriole says that he would have liked to meet Mizuki-sensei. Eriole : What about this? [ pointing to the stuffed bear at Sakura's side ] Sakura : [ taking the bear in hand and covering it as best she can ] Th... This isn't finished yet. Eriole : You bought that last time at the handicraft store. Sakura : Yea, it's not very well done. Eriole : May I see it? Sakura : [nervous ] But... But it's poorly done. It looks wierd and it doesn't look like a bear. Eriole : I quite enjoy handicraft. Maybe I can help. Sakura : [ a little reluctantly ] Don't laugh, okay? [ hands Eriole the stuffed doll ] Eriole : Why would I? You put so much effort into making this. Sakura : Thank you. Eriole is so kind afer all. Eriole reccommends making the ears smaller. Sakura pulls a pair of scissors out of her bag and Eriole offers to mend them for her. She hands him the scissors. [ Title - Sakura no Ookina Nuigurumi ] Sakura happily holds up a mended bear! She jumps of the bench from excitement and turns to Eriole. [ NOTE - THIS IS THE SWEEEETEST ERIOLE MOMENT IN CCS THAT I HAVE SEEN SO FAR ] Sakura : Oh yea, I've got to thank you somehow! Is there anything I can do? Eriole : Is anything okay? Sakura : Yea, as long as it's something I can do. Eriole : In that case... Eriole gets up from the bench and steps in front of Sakura, knees down on one leg, reaches for Sakura's hand... and gives it a kiss! The unsuspecting Sakura is stunned at first but then... Sakura : [ getting red ] HOE! [ head steaming ] Eriole : I am jealous of the person you are giving thhis bear to [ rises and walks away leaving Sakura to stare after him ]. [ NOTE - END OF SWEEEET ERIOLE MOMENT. It's a good thing Shaoron didn't see all this ^_^ ] Meanwhile, elsewhere on the school grounds, Chiharu presents Yamazaki-kun with a present. Chiharu : Here. Yamazaki : Thank you. Can I open it? [ Chiharu shakes her head ] Oh! It's a bear. Chiharu : You know... about naming a bear. If a person names a bear with his or her name, and gives it to the person he or she likes... Yamazaki decides to name the bear Suama [ a Japanese Candy ] because he likes it. He then goes off into one of his L-O-N-G rants all about the history of suama. Chiharu is baffelled, half believing him and half stunned by his interruption. But before long, she has her hands around his neck. Chiharu : Do you want me to fall in love with you? Yamazaki : [ laughing ] Why are you so mad? Shaoran [ carrying a bag ] happened to be passing the cute couple while all this is going on. He pulls a bear out of his bag and looks at it. He asks himself why he bought such a thing. [ flashback to episode 49 - the handicraft store ] Sakura has just bought a make-it-yourself stuffed bear kit. She and Tomoyo head out of the store. Shaoran lags behind and looks at the bear kit display. [ end flashback ] Shaoran : ... and I couldn't help making this bear. Chiharu : [ still strangeling laughing Yamazaki ] So if you name a bear with your name and give it the person you like, you get to fall in love with that person! Yamazaki : Oh, I see! Why didn't you say so earlier? Shaoran hears this and looks down at his bear. Sakura's smiling face appears surrounded by flowers. Shaoran : Why did her face appear? Yukito : What a cute bear! Yukito is on the opposite side of the fence seperating the high school from the elementary holding a full bag of groceries. He offers to share his lunch with Shaoran. They sit together on some nearby steps. Yukito finishes off a whole loaf of bread before telling Shaoron, who hasn't taken a bit, to help himself [ Yukito has a huge lunch ]. Yukito : Can I take a look at that bear? [ Shaoron nods and hands it to Yukito ] It's homemade. Did someone give it to you? [ Li shakes his head no ] Then you made it? [ yes ] It is very well made. Are you giving it to someone? Shaoran : Give it to... someone? Shaoran pictures Sakura again. He gulps and gets very red. He stands up, shakes his head in frustration and runs off. Shaoran : Why did her image have to show up? The only time I feel fuzzy warm and my heart goes racing was when I saw him [ Yukito ]. DAMMIT! What's going on? Li has run off leaving his homemade bear with Yukito. He stops dead in his tracks when he sees Sakura. Apparently Eriole has just left after kissing her hand and she is looking after him with questioning eyes. Shaoran beholds her standing there, hair and shirt blowing slightly in the wind. He catches his breath. Everything slows down, goes silent, and we hear his heart beat. Sakura turns to him. She turns and calls his name but he is so flustered that he turns around and sprints off. He turns into a park, climbs [ and then falls ] over a gate and continues running until... Yue appears, floating down in front of him holding Shaoran's bear. Yue : You inherited Clow's blood. The reason you are confusing this feeling with seeing Yukito is due to the magic power of the moon you sense from him. Li : Magic power of the moon... Yue : Right. If you calm down and fell your heart, you will be able to tell your true feelings. Li : My true feelings...What do you mean... Yue : Think about the rest yourself. Yue transform back into a surprised Yukito. Once again he has forgotten how he has gotten to where he is. Then he remembers that he was chasing after Shaoran to return the bear. He hands the bear to Shaoran. Li looks at his bear, pondering what Yue told him. [ Commercial - Eye Catch ] While Sakura and Tomoyo walk home from school, Sakura tells Tomoyo what happened earlier with Eriole. Tomoyo says Eriole is different, a transfer from England. Sakura thinks that it might be custom for them to kiss people on the hand. Shaoran aslo comes from abroad but the two are totally different. Sakura : Come to think of it, Li was acting weird today. Tomoyo : What happened? Sakura : It was during lunch, he saw my face and ran somewhere. Tomoyo : I wonder if something happened. Sakura : I don't know but his face was red. Tomoyo : Oh, now I see. It was becaue he saw you. Sakura : Why did he have to run away like that? Tomoyo : Because you are so dense, Li is going to have a tough time. Did you finish the bear. [ Sakura nods ] Are you going to give it to Tsukishiro-kun? [ nods agian ] [ taking Sakura's hand ] Then I have a favor to ask you.
