On September 18, 2004 the members decided on extension of the Club ? owners and fans of Black Russian Terriers also joined the Club. As a consequence, on the next Assembly, the members decided to modify the Foundation Act and Statute, as well as the name of the Club.
Since that moment, the official name of the Club is �The Club of The Russian Breeds� and its members are owners and fans of Caucasian Ovtcharkas, Central Asian Ovtcharkas, Black Russian Terriers, etc. The Club now has more than 40 members and has fully established dog breeding commissions.
The Club is open for co-operation with owners of rare Russian breeds in Serbia and Montenegro, such as South Asian Ovtcharka, Moscow Watchdog, etc.
THE CLUB OF THE RUSSIAN BREEDS and its Caucasian Ovtcharka Section are full members of The International Club of Caucasian Ovtcharka (ICKO).
THE CLUB OF THE RUSSIAN BREEDS and its Central Asian Ovtcharka Section are full members of the International Club of the Middle-Asian Ovtcharka (MK SAO).
THE CLUB OF THE RUSSIAN BREEDS and its Black Russian Terrier Section are full members of the International Club of Black Russian Terriers.
The Club activities are:
- Organization of the Specialty Breed Show of Caucasian Ovtcharkas, Central Asian Ovtcharkas and Black Russian Terriers, every year on March In Belgrade's suburb Surcin (close to Belgrade International Airport), at SRC Surcin, the dogs judged by the FCI experts from country-patrol (Russia) and the domestic-breed country (ex- SSSR).
- Preparation of the Club's magazine "Almanah on Russian Breeds", "Informator CO & CAO", the books about breed, CD and VHS.
- Organization of the seminars of discussions about breed, education for club-members and etc.
