| Roses in bloom Like the summer morn Graceful and tender Withholding its thorn. Standing so straight and tall Poised and proud as can be Its undying beauty Shown unto thee. Petals elegantly displayed Their splendor for all to see Proud members of the flower itself Everyone loves them, surely. Stems, so firm and strong No credit is given Strength beneath blossoms Another piece of Heaven. White is for purity Red being for love It matters not the color They are brought from above. Life ends for all Petals wither away Stems grow weak Life is ended. Much joy was given During the course of its life The memory will live on Forever in the minds. Written and copyrighted by: Kathy L.
