First up were some excellent local bands such as Klought (pronounced like the word "thought"). An original take on the thrash/death/heavy metal theme, Klought (geocities.com/klot6) features a sadistic sounding singer and strong players, including a show-stopping drummer. The band's musical influences range from gore metal to Incubus. Keep an eye on this promising young group.
