Klonoa does as Popka demands.
Popka: Now THAT ought do it!

Klonoa: Okay, two more to go! Hey! Wait a... sec...

Klonoa: RUN FOR IT!!!
Klonoa runs out into the open, just before the place explodes behind him. He is thrust into the air, but Tat catches him with their plane.
Klonoa: Agggghhhh!!! Uh... Tat!
Tat: Just for the record... I don't like you! You were mean to Leorina, in the past!
Popka: Hmm... ya ain't so bad, after all.
Tat: Oh just shut up, and hang on.
Klonoa is dropped to the next level, where he finds the engine and blows it up. He is shot out.
Klonoa: There is goes! One more to go!
He is again shot into the air, Tat again saves him. Then drops him on the next level. Klona finds and blows up the last engine. Again, when flying out, Tat saves.
Klonoa: Hey Tat!
Tat: That's Miss Tat, to you!

The group head into the purple portal and land in a bronze city.
Klonoa: So... this is the Fifth Kingdom.
Lolo: Are we... too late?
Leorina: No, we still have time. The ark only opened the path. You can still save the world, is you defeat the King of Sorrow.
Klonoa: The King of Sorrow...
Lolo: Come on, Klonoa. A world filled with sorrow... That wouldn't be right!
Leorina: Ungh...! My... wounds...
Klonoa: Leorina, you wait here. Don't worry. We'll stop him!
Leorina: Don't underestimate Leorina, the sky pirate. I'll be right behind you.

Lolo: Explain yourself! What were you planning to do, by making the Fifth Bell, appear in our world?
King: Making it appear? No. The Fifth Bell was always a part of your world. It was always there. But you pulled the veil over your eyes, and refused to see it.
Klonoa: Huh?
Lolo: We refused.. to see it?
King: When people encounter sorrow, they try to forget it, and pretend it never existed at all. So I used the ark to lift Lunatea's Veil. All so that you could save the Kingdom of Sorrow. So that Lunatea could once again remember...
Lolo: We... would save...?
King: Welcome, Dream Traveler!
???: You were led on with false prophecies... You false saviors, of a foolish world.
Klonoa: What?!
Lolo: Master... Baguji?!
King: If sorrow is so unwelcome here... Who cares if the world is destroyed... Let the world be consumed by sorrow. It was I who brought you, the Dream Traveler, this far... So that you can atone for the sins of this world, Klonoa!

Leorina: YOU isolated yourself from the world, thinking that you're the only one who's sad! You make me sick!
