Description: Living in a tower etched with Lephise's head, Balue is more of an obsessive stalker then a hopeless romantic. He knows just about everything there is to know about Lephise, wants to be with her forever, and seems to only be able to talk about her. He isn't a terrible guy, though, as he offers Klonoa and Huepow partially useful information, even though he does it in a rude and obsessive manner. The funny thing is, it seems as though Klonoa starts out afraid of this guy, who rants at him for not knowing who Lephise is.

Description: A priestess in training when Klonoa first meets her, Lolo saves him from drowning in the Sea of Tears when he falls to Lunatea. She wants nothing more then to become a priestess, simply to show all the other priestesses that she isn't a failure. Then she wants to save the world to prove that same fact. And she uses Klonoa to do it. Lolo uses his Ring to her advantage, ringing the Spirit Bell and gaining her the priestess title. And then, she uses him to help her save the world. Apparently, she has a conscience, for she eventually feels bad for using Klonoa to get what she wants, and after the world is safe, she gives up her title as priestess to start over and gain it for herself. As with Huepow, she grew a little attached to Klonoa, so when he had to leave, she was upset. But she turned out to be a good friend and ally to him.

Description: Lolo's trusty sidekick, Popka is one loud-mouthed creature. His short temper and low tolerance make him hard to become close friends with, but the people he does consider friends, he definitely cares about them greatly (though he wouldn't admit that). He follows Lolo around mostly, as she is his closest friend, and he finds it his duty to watch after her.

Description: This once priestess-turned-sky pirate isn't one you'd want to mess with. She longs to feel power, and even declared her wish as to be stronger then the gods. But the power she wanted turned against her, and she since learned that maybe her actions weren't the best in the world. In fact, she helped Klonoa and the rest SAVE the world she was once trying hard to bring sorrow upon. She is loyal to her friends only, and that loyalty is unbreakable. Perhaps now her notorious ways have come to an end? The world may never know.
