The Third Lorelai
After Tristan blabs to Paris that it was Rory's idea to set them up.
R: [goes up to
Tristan] You told her?
T: I didnt know it was a secret.
R: Why would you tell her? What is wrong with you?!
T: Rory relax, we tried ok, it didnt work out, its no big deal.
R: Its a huge deal to Paris and you didnt try. One date isnt trying.
T: Rory -
R: You said youd try.

Love, Daisies and Troubadours
When Tristan has P.J. Harvey tickets....
T: You should decorate this thing.
R: I did.
T: Well I mean with something other than a bunch of dead black and white women.
R: What, like curtains?
T: You know what I mean. I did mine up.
R: Yeah, I saw that. The naked picture of the Siamese twins is particularly classy.
T: You know what these are? (holds up two tickets)
R: They look like tickets.
T: To PJ Harvey.
R: Wow, you have good taste. I'll give you that.
T: You're into PJ Harvey, right?
R: Yeah, how'd you know?
T: Why, I'm all knowing.
R: How Godlike of you.
T: One of these is for you.
Run Away, Little Boy
Rory tries to convince Tristan not to talk about the kiss in front of Dean RORY: Excuse me Tristan, can I talk to you for a second?
T: [to his friends] I'll meet you guys later, okay? [they walk away] I'm all yours.
R: I need to talk to you about something serious.
T: Serious, huh? I'm intrigued.
R: Dean's coming to rehearsal tonight.
T: Wow, are you sure they can spare him? I mean, what if there's a run on baked beans?
R: Can you just shut up for five seconds, please? Thank you. Look, as I said, Dean is coming to rehearsal tonight, and I'd like to ask you to promise that you won't say anything to him about what happened.
T: What happened?
R: At the party?
T: At the party?
R: Tristan! You and me, at Madeline's party? You had just been kicked to the curb by Summer, and I found you sulking on a piano bench, and I sat down, we talked, and thenwe kissed.
T: That was you?

Run Away, Little Boy
Rory yells @ Tristan for being a jerk..
T: Now I noticed you didn't cry when you kissed him. I'm starting to feel a little insecure.
R: What is wrong with you?
T: Whoa, I think I liked you better comatose.
R: I thought you weren't going to say anything.
T: Did I say that?
R: You make it impossible for anyone to be nice to you. No wonder you had to join our group. Anyone who's actually suffered through the experience of going out with you would absolutely know better.
T: Gee, I really wish we could continue your analysis on how pathetic I am. Unfortunately, I have to meet some friends.
PARIS: Where are you going? Where is he going? We're not finished! Hey, I'm the director here! Tristan!
BRAD: Tristan, come back!
Love, Daisies and Troubadours
Tristan's last attempt to get Rory to get to the concert.
T:So I'm a little tired of this game.
R: What game?
T: Are we meeting there or what?
R: What are you talking about?
T: The concert's tonight.
R: Well I hope you and the empty seat next to you have a lot of fun.
T: I'm started to get a little irritated here.
R: So am I.
T: What are you mad about?
R: You've been telling everyone that I'm going to this thing with you.
T: Just a couple.
R: You told Paris. Paris and I had just started getting along and now she hates me again.
T: Well, the damage is done. You might as well go to PJ Harvey with me.
R: Never never. I am never going anywhere with you ever.
T: You know, these tickets cost me a fortune.
R: They cost your daddy a fortune.
T: I don't even know anybody else who's even into this stupid guy.
R: PJ Harvey's a woman.
(Tristan grabs Rory's books)
R: What are you doing?
T: You'll get them back when you agree to go with me.
R: You're pathetic Tristan. Keep the books. I'm leaving.
[A few moments later]
(Tristan puts Rory's books down on the ground and walks away after he sees Dean and Rory kiss)
Run Away, Little Boy
Tristan says good-bye to the only girl (we all know) he's been in love with.
T: Can't.
PARIS: What?
T: Actually, my dad had me pulled out of school. He [Paris walks away] and is she unhappy.
R: What do you mean he had you pulled out of school? What happened?
T: Nothing. Just ticked the old man off, that's all.
R: By doing what? Tristan, come on, tell me.
T: I got in some trouble.
R: Trouble involving?
T: Involving Duncan and Bowman, and Bowman's dad's safe.
R: Oh no.
T: I mean, Bowman had a key. It was supposed to be no big deal. And the crazy silent alarm kicked in.
R: You broke into Bowman's dad's safe?
T: Yes.
R: Stupid.
T: Yes.
R: Well, okay, you can apologize and you can put back the money and you can explain that, I don't know, you were going through something.
T: I was, I was going through his safe.
R: Why would you do this?
T: I don't know. I guess that's something I can ponder at military school.
R: Military school?
T: The police are letting our parents handle it, and in my case that means military school in North Carolina.
R: I don't know what to say.
T: Well, I imagine you're overwhelmed with the relief in knowing that soon I will be gone.
R: I'm so sorry.
T: Well, I'm a big boy. I can handle it.
R: There's nothing you can
[Tristan's dad calls him from down the hall] MR. DUGREY: Tristan, come on.
T: I gotta go. So, I might kiss you goodbye but, uh, your boyfriend's watching. Take care of yourself, Mary.(Rory smiles at him.)
**That's all for the Trory moments!!** (SOB,SOB) Hopefully--they'll meet again...a girl can dream!**
