The Akira plushie. Witness the cute eyes, the nice hair, and the....erm, interesting outfit.
I guess it makes sense that even the Akira plushie would look formal. (Note: as mentioned
before, I have neither scanner nor digital camera. This picture is of a Akira plushie, but
not my Akira plushie. Mine is cuter. Just 'cause it's mine.)
The Hikaru plushie. He's even got his own little Go piece, though I'm not fond of that expression.
He looks like he's gonna eat me! Aaah! ::Ahem:: Sorry, weird moment. Anyway, I might buy
one of these eventually, just so I can have it cuddle with my Akira plushie. I am a strange,
strange, yaoi-loving girl.
I swear, I should buy this plushie just to sell it on ebay. Last I checked, people were willing
to pay upwards of $40 for this cute little thing. (My Akira plushie only cost $15, FYI.) Anyway,
Sai looks all cute and chibi-ish here. And he doesn't have lipstick like Anime!Sai, so I guess
it's an improvement.
The Waya plushie, complete with difficult hair. Really, his hair's so messy and all, it's
gotta be hard to translate it to plushie-ness. For some reason, that victory sign he's making
looks funny to me. Must be because he only has four fingers. Poor plushie.
I admit it, I was really surprised to see an Isumi plushie. If you had asked me to name five
characters who I thought would be plushies, I would've gotten Hikaru, Sai, Akira and probably
Waya, but not Isumi. For some reason I thought they'd do an Akari one first (but I like Isumi
better than Akari, so yay!) Isumi also won one of the popularity polls in Shounen Jump, so
I guess that explains why he gets his own plushie.
