June 26 - 2nd Annual Ernest Leeth Memorial Gospel Sing Last year we held the 1st Memorial Gospel Sing at Nipgen Campground, but this year we decided to move the location to New Covenant CCCU in Waverly, OH. We had a good turnout and had a great time. It was an evening filled with Southern Gospel music, just the way Grandpa would have liked it! Singing that night was the Mercy River Quartet (my brother Brad's group), The Leeth Family, Melody Wiseman, and a Resounding Joy reunion, as well as a Ransomed reunion. It was great to play together again and brought back a lot of memories. We were privileged to have guest musicians Dave Lambert, Billy Wiseman, my brother Brad Lambert, and of course my husband Tim. Our special guest Emcee that evening was Rev. David Smith. His wife Linda also sang for us that night. At this point it looks like we'll be having it at the same location each year, as long as there is no conflict with New Covenant's schedule of events. I hope you'll come be with us next year... it's just a great opportunity to catch up with friends and family while listening to some good 'ole southern gospel... if you like that kinda thang!

Mercy River Quartet disbanding My brother's group, formerly known as New Voice Quartet, has announced that they are coming off the road. They will be finishing their scheduled dates but are no longer accepting bookings. The group has gone through some personnel changes in the past few months when their baritone singer Greg Tingler left, and soon after their bass singer Tom Graham also resigned. Mike Bates, Buddy Bates' brother has been filling in the baritone position after Greg's departure. Although these changes have been difficult for the group, it isn't the reason for their disbanding. Tenor singer Buddy Bates has been facing some health problems and needs to come off the road for awhile. Please remember Buddy in your prayers that the doctors will be able to diagnose the problem and that healing will take place. Brad and Buddy feel this is the best course of action for the time being, but have stated that they may rejoin at a later time.

May 28 - The Big Move!! We left the big metropolis of Grove City and moved to the small town of Pataskala, OH. It's located about 10 minutes east of Reynoldsburg traveling on I-70. We love the town, and the people are so friendly in this town. We're living in a house that the church beside us owns, First Presbyterian Church. My friend of 27 years, Denise (who I claim as my sister), works at the church as their secretary...and she's an awesome secretary I might add! Pastor Dennis Witt is going to start a Saturday night contemporary praise service as soon as time permits the planning and organizing of it. Tim and I will be a part of it, providing the praise music and leading the worship. We're really looking forward to getting started. We've had a long break from the music ministry and are itching to get back in. Please keep us and the Pastor in your prayers as we venture into this new endeavor for the Lord. As you can imagine, the enemy is fighting any way he can to keep it from getting started.
