| A Mother's Love | ||||||||
| If you tried to measure a mother's love for her child, you'd find none as precious, as pure or as kind. It stretches as wide as the ocean, reaches as far as the sky; Calming the fears of her child's heart and keeping watch through the night. A mother is ever so patient teaching her child right from wrong. Instilling the morals and virtues that her mother also passed on. Often she makes sacrifices that no one else ever sees. She'll spend her last dime for her children while she goes with nothing to eat. Mothers weren't made to be perfect she blunders like everyone else. But raising a child isn't easy, you'll know when you raise one yourself. You'll learn the true meaning of worry when your little one becomes ill. You'll feel the concern and the panic when your child lies fevered and still. You'll realize that your loving mother did the very best she could do. As you grow older and older, you'll realize what she's done for you. This love cannot ever be measured, and a child could not 'er comprehend that the greatest of all earthly treasures is a mother, the world's truest friend. -written by Angela Klinker @December 15, 2001 |
