Phase 4 - Fillets
This is a boatbuilder on epoxy. Any questions?
When the butt blocks are dried, you can use your duct tape and tape the seams of the boat together like so.  This is a fun step. Anything to do with duct tape is fun, really. Just don't get it in your hair.
Then you cut your spreaders to ...spread the sides apart. (of course!) I have also started to cut my strips of cloth and have laid them out in preparation for making the fillets. FYI Yes my spreaders are an old hockey stick.
Two highly experienced professionals here. I am using my plastic spatula to lay down epoxy mixed with colloidal silica. My assistant is laying the cloth on to the fillet. Like a machine, baby! Like a machine!
All the seams have dried and the hull is a lot stiffer. Here I am pretending to go steaming down the river. (Steaming along!)
