Formed in 1996, Klinger are approaching their 6th year together. The boys spent their early years writing songs and touring the local music scene.

In 1997 the boys introduced Dave Rogers to the band and since then its been a smooth ride on the road to stardom. Klinger have played with names such as Green Day, Unwritten Law, The Fauves, and done national tours with the Mavis's and Motor Ace.

In 1999 Klinger made their presence be heard with the release of their EP "Grimshaw St". The EP gave the Klinger boys instant recognition as their hit "Hello Cruel World"  recieved regular air play on triple j and eventually on rage. Their next release was the much anticipated Sayonara Anyway/ Ben Lee EP which once again did wonders for the boys as they released Saynoara Anyway and later on Ben Lee. Both songs would eventually score a place in the triple j hottest 100.

Now if your still not impressed, Klinger are well on their way to releasing their third EP. With many great rock tunes already written it is just a matter of time till we see these students of Rock n Roll storming up the charts.
