St. John of Climacus Monastery, under the direction of its Abbot Archimandrite Philaretos, is a men's cenobitic monastery and is part of the Diocese of Phthiotis and Thavmakos of the Authentic Orthodox Church of Greece (ΓΟΧ).
The brotherhood of the monastery is temporarily living in Athens as the monastery is being built in Ellopia, Boiotia.
