COST, EXPERIENCE, EFFICENCY
What Does West Coast Flyers have to offer that other schools do not?
We own our own aircraft, including Cessna 150s, 172s, and even Beech Bonanzas for commercial and complex training.  We have excellent maintaince and safety records.  Our quality controll for our graduates and our instructors is at a much higher level than even the FAA demands.  We also have experienced flight instructors who want to instruct.  Many are Gold Seal which is an elite designation for Flight Instructors given by the Federal Aviation Administration.  We also boast Advanced Ground Instructors, and Instrument Ground Instructors, specially trained to give you the edge when you take your FAA written exam, and oral checkride.

We also offer
cheaper rates than most other flight schools.  How do we do this?   West Coast Flyers is privately owned and operated by a major airline captain.  We own our own aircraft outright, and we work out of a smaller field to cut costs for you. As instructors we will not sacrifice quality of training..  There is no administrator or salesman here, just excellent instructors who want to teach you to fly.

STAFF

Speaking of Instructors how much are they?  Our rates are $35 per hour for Basic Instruction (private pilot) and $40 per hour for advanced (instrumentcommercial, Flight Instructor).  That makes our rates about $85 - $120 per hour (including airplane and fuel) ($35 on the ground).  Thes rates are very reasonable compared to $150-$170 per hour flight time and $60 per hour ground most schools charge.

We also boast an exceptional staff comprised of only flight instructors.  No administrator is increasing our overhead.  We have also developed our own standardized system and all of our instructors are trained to achieve that standard.
