Beholder

The Eye of the Beholder
Is a very powerful thing.
It can truly crush a man,
Be he commoner or king.

The man who is not beautiful
Can be destroyed by the Eye,
By those who think that Pulchritude
Is the only reason why--

A person should be loved--
Or a person whould be cared for--
Or a person should be held--
It makes me so sore.

A person can be lovely
Without a certain look.
It's the personality
That is the true hook.

So do not judge a person
By their countenance.
It's what's inside that's admirable--
Not their attractiveness.
