BAIRD SERVICES SET TUESDAY -
Mrs. Elton (Jerry Lou) Baird of Rt. 2, Perkins died Saturday, Oct. 15 1988, in Stillwater Medical Center. She was 45.
Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Perkins of which she was a member. The Rev. Larry Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in the Perkins Cemetery.
Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The daughter of Leonard and Bessie (Richardson) Sharp, she was born April 13, 1943, at Pawnee.
She grew up in Pawnee and attended school there.
She and Elton Clifford Baird were married June 27, 1960, at Pawnee and after their marriage they moved to Payne County and had lived the past 21 years in the Perkins area.
Mrs. Baird was a licenced day care operator.
She is predeceased by her father, a brother, leonard Sharp Jr. who died in World War II, another brother and a sister who died in infancy.
Her mother is a Pawnee resident.
She is also survived by her husband, a daughter, Teresa of the home; two sons, Brian of the home and Craige and Bonnie Baird of Perkins.
Also suriving are two grandchildren.
She has six sisters, Kaye Bullard of Stillwater, Leota Garner and Doris Nichols, both of Pawnee; Juanita McLaughlin and Norma Rhoades, both of ___________; and Kathryn Scott ___________ Ark.
Six brothers are Jack Sharp of Stillwater, Cecil Sharp of Perkins, Don Sharp of Pawnee, Charles Sharp of Ponca City, James Sharp of Medford, and Robert Sharp of El Paso, Texas.
