| Yale NewsPress, Jan. 21, 1988 in Yale, Payne County, Oklahoma Funeral services for Brooxie Mae Robinson, 85, Yale, will be held Saturday, January 23, 1988, in the Yale First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Warren Lamons will be the officiant. Interment, under the direction of the Yale-Hackler Funeral Home, will be in Lawson Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was born in Niangua, Missouri on June 21, 1902. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Laurie Ann (Smith) Dudley. She was raised and educated in Missouri and married Edgar A. Robinson on October 23, 1924 in Marshfield, Missouri. They made their first home there and came to Yale in 1947 and have continued to reside here. Mr. Robinson predeceased her on Aug. 15, 1985. Mrs. Robinson died Thursday, January 19, 1988 in Stillwater Medical Center. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include 5 sons, Frank of Kimball, NE.; Tommy of Cushing; James, Paul and John, all of Yale; one daughter Velma Baird of Yale; one sister, Clarice Alexander of Marshfield, Missouri; 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Robinson was also predeceased by a son, a daughter, two brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a daughter-in-law. Yale NewsPress, Jan. 25, 1988 in Yale, Payne County, Oklahoma Brooxie M. Robinson, 85, Yale, died Jan. 19, 1988 in the Stillwater Medical Center following a short illness. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Yale First Baptist Church with Warren Lamons, minister, officiating. Burial was in the Lawson Cemetery under direction of the Yale-Hackler Funeral Home. She was born June 21, 1902 in Niangua, Mo., daughter of the late Jim and Laurie Ann (Smith) Dudley. She was raised in Missouri where she recieved her education. Brooxie and Edgar A. Robinson were married Oct. 23, 1924 in Marshfield, Mo., where they made their home until moving to Yale in 1947. He preceded her in death Aug. 15, 1985. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter Velma Baird, Yale; five sone, Frank Robinson, Kimball, Nebr.; Tommy Robinson, Cushing; James Robinson, Paul and John Robinson, all of Yale; one daughter-in-law, Lela Robinson, Kiowa, Kan.; her only sister, Clarice Alexander, Marshfield, Mo. Plus 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and other relatives. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, two grandchildren, one great grandchild, one daughter-in-law, two brothers and four sisters. |
