Euro Store
How to earn them
Euros can be earned for any
exceptional action within the class. For
example, coming to class prepared, answering questions, participating in class
or winning class activities. Euros are valid
only with Ms. Wineland’s signature. Like
cash, Euros are valuable only if you actually are in possession of them; lost
Euros will not be replaced. However,
Euros hold no cash value.
How to Spend them
Euros may be used to make three
types of purchases: Class Rewards, Personal Purchases and Fines. Class Purchases are rewards for all members
of the class. Therefore, each member of
the class must be in possession of the given number of Euros on the day they
are cashed in. It may take up to a week
to coordinate a class reward day. If
used for a class reward a Euro will be marked so that it may no longer be used
for class purchases. However, it may
still be redeemed for an additional personal reward or fine. \
Personal purchases and fines are
just as they sound. They are meant to
promote responsible behavior within class.
Disrespectful deeds will earn you fines which must be paid for by the
end of class, lest you go into Euro debt.
Continued debt will result in interest of 1 Euro per day. Excessive debt will require restitution as
determined by Ms. Wineland, including, but not limited to detention, classroom
cleaning/service, demerits, infractions, written apologies, additional French
practice/translations . . .
