French Club
The French Club of PASMT will promote French
culture and increase interest in world languages to ensure the well-rounded
development of students who empathize with the global
community.
Statement of Purpose:
The French Club has been organizeed
• To
encourage awareness of world languages and cultures
• To expand the minds of others, especially Mr. Burden, with regards to
the global community
• To provide supplemental educational
opportunities which enhance understanding of culture in the
global community
• To
raise funds for these additional opportunities
• To
provide service to school and community
• To
strengthen the world languages curriculum
Guidelines for Membership:
Membership
in the French Club is open to all students at PASMT (including Junior High)
students who desire to expand their mind and explore French culture.
Guidelines for Offices
Offices are open to all French Club
members. Elections will be held in the
fall of each year. Offices include
President and two vice-council members.
They are elected annually for a term of one year by all present French
club members. The officers are
responsible for organizing meetings, planning and publicizing French cultural
events. They may choose to delegate
these responsibilities to other members (i.e. events chair persons). Chairpersons may nominate themselves, or be
nominated by officers. Chairpersons are
then elected for the term of a cultural event by present French club members
and officers.
