Anime Cosplay
Being one of the main attractions for most convention goers, I of course took the most photos of crazies who dressed up in the most loveable (or hated) of anime characters. I really have nothing much to say about cosplayers that hasn't already been said, except that Chii from Chobits was the most ridiculously overdone costume this year. As a result, I didn't put up the picture I took of one of the many Chii imitators. It was a shame to see there were even less Slayers cosplayers than last year. I saw at least three Linas and four Ameria, but all the other characters were woefully low in reserve. There was no reapperence of the perfect Naga from last year. Even though there weren't as many ofpersonal favorite characters, there was a load of brilliant cosplayers this year, and I was disappointed I couldn't catch them all on film. The photo quality goes from small and crappy to bigger and somewhat better with a mysterious blue line. I won't mention why. 1.) Team Rocket guy - there was quite an abundance of Team Rocket cosplayers this year, but I think this one was the best. He was also Wolfwood the day before I took this. 2.) They will damn you to hell - What more can I say? "In the name of God, impure souls of the living dead shall be banished into eternal damnation. Amen." 3.) Saturn and Uranus - their's don't look bought, unlike some other senshi costumes I could mention... 4.) Urd and Belldandy - I don't know how the Urd did her eyebrows like that, but it's cool. 5.) A mixed bunch - taken during painfully long wait in line for registration. 6.) Angelic Layer - this girl cosplayed as one of the Amazon Quartet as well. 7.) Girl Vash - she was a friend of someone I was waiting in line with. She was also an awesome Vash. 8.) Kenshin group - they were being barraged with photo requests when I took this, of course. 9.) Haruko Haruhara - She had the most inventive guitar prop at the whole expo. (Note the face of the guy behind her) 10.) Another FLCL character - She has such an evil, devilish grin. 11.) Assorted group - four guys, four different series. Hoorah for Spike! 12.) Ameria, CCS, and... - I'm not sure who the person on the far right is supposed to be. Sorry! 13.) Lupin III - I love them. 14.) Two good poses - Not sure of the series. 15.) A rare Slayers group - I was disappointed that this picture came out so horribly. Return to the menu |
