Recipe for:

Apple Crisp                           Makes 8 servings

4 apples
3/8 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. whole wheat flour
1/4 c. rolled oats
3 T. margarine or butter
3/4 t. ground cinnamon

1. Peel, core and slice apples, then arrange them in the bottom of a microwave safe pie plate.

2. In a medium mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients for form crumbs. Sprinkle the crumbs over the apples.

3. Cook in a microwave oven, uncovered, for 3-4 minutes at high setting.

4. Allow to cool in the microwave oven for at least 3 minutes before serving.

Note:   This recipe tastes great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
