| Although the 8th grade students spend more time working in the kitchens, the purpose of this class is to prepare these 13-15 year-olds for the world of work. Because of the schedule changes at the middle schools, the curriculum has been adjusted to include a consumer education unit which will include lessons regarding advertising and fincancial literacy.
