JUST WHAT HE WANTED
scanned from original graphite sketch (see below) reworked in Photoshop.
This is one of my favorite sketches. It isn't anyone I've ever met just a figure from my imagination. I pictured a little boy holding his newest toy that he'd JUST got for a present...a panda bear. I began this over my lunch hour (I always carry my small sketchbook with me) as a "doodle". He simply began to take shape. Believe it or not sometimes my drawings "talk" to me and tell me what they are going to be.
I haven't decided yet whether or not I will do this one in color. I rather like the black and white version. I added the "frame" in Photoshop. |
