Mashed potatoes are amazingly fabulous, but they're ten times better with a little bit of garlic. Besides, it's often been said that garlic has certain health benefits including lowering bad cholesterol and preventing the common cold.
Ingredients:
6 large Yukon Gold potatoes
2 - 3 cloves of garlic
2 - 4 tbs. butter
1/4 - 1/3 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
- clean, skin, and roughly chop potatoes
- boil until tender
- mash potatoes
- mince or crush garlic
- add garlic, butter, and milk
- add salt and pepper to taste
Prep Time: about 30 minutes
Cook Time: about 10 minutes
