My 2000 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Firehawk #514
This is badest of all the Fourth Generation Firebirds made in 2000.  It is the Street Legal Performance (SLP) Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Firehawk.

SLP partnered with GM to produce these street legal (lethal) performers.  The cars were modified by SLP before they were even sent to the dealer.  Here's how it worked.

The cars came off the GM assembly line in St. Therese Canada and were sent SLP in Canada to have the Firehawk modifications done to the car.  Once at SLP, the GM parts that were to be modified were removed and the SLP modifications were added.

The standard modifications for 2000 included an upgraded LS1 engine with 330 horsepower and 345 ft./lbs. torque,  composite hood with functional cold air induction scoops, hood mounted heat extractors, 17" x 9" five spoke painted aluminum wheels, P275/40ZR17 Firestone Firehawk SZ 50 tires, performance stainless steel exhaust system with twin dual tips, upgraded suspension components, Firehawk console plaque and key fobs and a Firehawk front fascia badge.

SLP then shiped the car back to the GM Plant to be shipped to the Dealers with all the rest of the F-Body cars.

SLP numbers each an every one of the cars that they produce in their facility.  This is car 514 of 741 produced for the model year 2000.  It is one of 106 Pewter Metallic cars.  The car currently sports only 6500 original miles!

There is no question, this is one rare Bird!
